Pack 8 Leader Training
As a leader of within any cub scout pack, the Boy Scouts of America require specific training be completed by each individual. Having all of our Pack 8 leaders adequately trained is also a requirement for us to maintain our "Quality Unit" status. For those of you who have not yet attended training the following details the overall requirements:
Requirement 1: Fast Start Training
Required to be completed by all leaders immediately upon completion of registration. This course can be taken online by clicking on "Fast Start Training"
Requirement 2: Youth Protection Training
Required to be completed by all leaders prior to interacting with children. This course can also be taken online clicking on "Youth Protection Training"
Requirement 3: This Is Scouting
Required to be completed by all leaders after completing Fast Start and Youth Protection. This course covers the mission of scouting, programs for all ages, scouting is fun, scouting in the community, keeping our youth safe, and scouting’s legacy. This course can also be taken online by clicking on "This Is Scouting"
Requirement 4: Position Specific Training
Required of all leaders. Course information and locations are as follows:
